COLOUR BLOCK is the theme of the FW18 Hickmann Eyewear collection.

The brand’s latest campaign was shot in Cais do Sodré, Lisbon, in one of the most emble­matic and trendy Portuguese neighborhoods. The set included the Pink Street also known as “open-air art gallery” and its surroundings between terraces and bars, in one of Lisbon’s most popular destinations.

Colour blocking is the trend to mix vibrant and eye-catching colours in one look, very popu­lar in the early 60’s and late 80’s, and now it is back. But fashion is not what it used to be, it has evolved and given way to different approaches and moving towards an increasingly individualized style.

The Hickmann Eyewear FW18 collection is a celebration of the self, a personality statement through fashion and non-massified style. Round, geometric and pilot shapes characterize the optical frames while sunglasses offer different lens shapes, creating very special effects playing on empty and full spaces and on lines and volumes overlapping. Colour, light acetate details and metal combinations make this a less traditional collection, trendsetter worthy.
